Donate to Our 2025 Marathon Runners
We’re excited to announce we will have not one, but TWO charity runners participating in the 2025 Boston Marathon in support of NEF. Hannah Kuklis, a Natick resident, NPS graduate and reading teacher at Ben-Hem Elementary School, and Yuko Soneoka, a Natick resident with a passion for education. Learn more about our two incredible fundraising champions and why they are looking forward to running for NEF.
Hannah Kuklis
I’m a novice runner, mom of two little ones (ages 3 and 9 months), and a reading teacher at Ben-Hem Elementary School here in Natick. Natick holds a special place in my heart—it’s where I graduated from high school, and now I’m fortunate enough to teach and live here as well.
In the past, I’ve run 5Ks, a 10K, and most recently completed the Boston Half Marathon. This will be my first marathon, and I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to run in the 128th annual Boston Marathon on behalf of NEF.
Yuko Soneoka
I am excited to run the Boston Marathon on behalf of NEF and to raise funds that will support the Natick Public Schools. I am originally from Japan and moved to Natick from California 8yrs ago. I love the Natick community and what better way to give back than by combining two of my passions: education and athletics. Education has been a core part of my life - I have a PhD in Biochemistry as well as a JD and am a patent attorney and currently SVP and Head of Intellectual Property at a biotechnology company in Cambridge.
I have been active throughout my life and most recently ran my first marathon at the Paris 2024 Olympic Marathon Pour Tous, the first ever open event in the history of the Olympics. 2024 was an absolute memorable year. I am looking forward to making 2025 equally memorable by running the Boston Marathon to raise money to further innovation in the Natick Public Schools.
